(7/18-7/22) Chicago trip notes:
We created our packing list, looked up the weather in Chicago, and we started the budget for the trip. Packing list is on website and the budget will be added shortly.
New Cuisines Badge (May 26, can everyone make it?)
We did the research for each of the different dishes and each person is responsible for their assigned dish. They are to bring the ingredients needed for their dish and their plan of how they’re going to divide the work to make sure it counts for everybody.
Sweet Berry Farms (April 7, 2012)
We will meet and pick strawberries, and possibly other fruits that grow on vines. Then we’ll come back to Katelynne’s house to make Strawberry Preserves.
We’re having scheduling problems since everyone is doing so much extracurricular things so please do your best to avoid any conflicts. we would swim and jet ski fun times and lesli will take us to lunch with a minimum budget of $40 total ($10 per person). We are going to take two cars because not everyone doesn’t want to go swimming. We are going to spend money on picking strawberries.
Seedballs for Journey project
I have emailed a man from Reimer’s ranch telling him all the kinds of seeds that are in the seedballs. He replied and said that he would send my email to the natural resource department. I (Kirsten) will tell you when we get an update from him.
May 26th is good for me for cooking. Strawberry Farms is good, I think Lesli said meet at the front of Saddle Tree subdivision at 10:30 for strawberries, lunch and then I would like to go swimming at the lake and if when we get back and preserve making is still available, I would like to do that.

OK, we’ll move the date for the cooking activity to May 26th.
I’ve booked the time in April to work on a badge or other girl scout activity so if Kirby or Kirsten want to do something on that afternoon/evening with Katelynne let me know and we can try to figure something else out. If not, no worries – girls don’t all have to work on the same badges or activities.
Strawberry day – I’m sorry, but I don’t have the time that day to do everything that is now on the table. You all will have to choose to stay and swim/jet ski with Lesli or come back to work on preserves. And you do need to let me know by Tuesday so I can figure out what all we need and let you know what to bring (if anything).

Ok, I will miss out on the preserves, would like to stay and swim/jet ski. Thanks. What date are you saying about the April badge work? April 13th? I found the packing list, I didn’t see that on the Chicago stuff when I had looked before. thanks.
